Parish Councillors and volunteers spread 36 tonnes of gravel over the parking area of the playing field today.
The Groundsman used the parish tractor to move the piles of gravel delivered by lorries.
It was then spread using a selection of shovels and rakes. One lady’s rake in particular attracted a lot of attention and envy.
Thanks to all the volunteers and councillors who worked so hard – the muddy car park will now be a thing of the past.
Thanks also to Whiskers Cafe for keeping the workers supplied with hot drinks 👍🏻
