Barley Road Public Open Space
Prestbury Parish Council has been gifted a piece of land by Bovis/Bloor, the developers who built the new housing on the Starvehall Farm fields. The developers have also donated trees – which have been planted around the edge of the POS and in three groups in the middle.

The new Public Open Space (POS) is on the corner of Prestbury Road and Barley Barley Road, next to the Prestbury Parish Playing Fields.

Having now taken legal ownership of this land the Parish Council is having a fence erected around the land facing Prestbury and Barley Roads, and over the coming months hope to provide benches.
