Prestbury Parish Council have now had confirmation that the MUGA installation work will begin on Monday 8th June 2020. These works are likely to take six weeks. During this period the Prestbury Playing Fields will be closed and fencing put in place to prevent access to the general public. This is necessary to protect the general public and ensure Caloo, the contractors meet their legal requirements for Health & Safety and Risk Assessment on a development site.
The Covid-19 situation has clearly made life difficult but there will still be full access to the Barley Road Public Open Space and we encourage you to utilise this newly acquired green space.
