Job Vacancy – Administration Officer at Prestbury Parish Council

The Administration Officer is a part-time role, of 10-15 hours per week, reporting to the Parish Clerk. Hours negotiable.

Role:

  • Monitoring and updating the Parish Council website and supporting the social media developments as a key aspect of PPC media and communications requirements.
  • General duties such as dealing with enquiries, attending committee meetings, minute taking and assisting in financial matters.

The most suitable candidate will be computer literate, and ideally have website content updating experience.

The successful applicant will be expected to work occasional evenings to cover meetings and have a degree of flexibility to cover sickness and holidays.

The salary band for a fulltime role is between £18,562 – £19,698 pa (for 37 hours per week) and the Local Government Pension Scheme is available.  In addition, there are 20 days annual leave per year, plus bank holidays (pro-rata).
