Administration Officer (Part-time vacancy)

Prestbury Parish Council: Administration Officer

Overview:

Prestbury Parish Council (PPC) are looking for an administration officer to assist the Parish Clerk, Councillors and Members of the Public. This is a new part-time role, typically 15 hours per week, reporting to the Parish Clerk.

This new role will include:

• Managing the bookings and payments for the MUGA (multi-user games area).

• Monitoring and updating the Parish Council website and supporting the social media developments as a key aspect of PPC media and communications requirements.

• General duties such as dealing with enquiries, attending committee meetings, minute taking and assisting in financial matters.

The salary band for a fulltime role is between £18,562 – £19,698 pa (for 37 hours per week) depending on experience and the Local Government Pension Scheme is available.

Additional benefits of the role are 20 days annual leave (pro rata)  per year, plus bank holidays (pro-rata).
