As you may already be aware, work has commenced on the A435 Cheltenham to Bishop’s Cleeve Cycleway (Section 2 Phase 1) and Wellington Road. Here is an update on key road closures and updates. Please see below:
Tuesday 14th January:
From 6am on Tuesday 14th January, the permanent traffic signals have been deactivated, and the temporary roundabout will be in operation.
Tuesday 21st January – Friday 24th January:
The previously scheduled road closures on the A435 Evesham Road between Hyde Lane junction and Bishop’s Cleeve roundabout (Tuesday 14th – Friday 17th January) have been rescheduled. These closures will now take place from 21st – 24th January between 8pm and 6am.
Monday 20th January:
An additional road closure will be in place between Cheltenham Racecourse roundabout and Hyde Lane junction between 8pm and 6am on Monday 20th January to facilitate surfacing works for the A435 Evesham Road Landslip project.
