MUGA – Community Involvement Programme – apply for free sessions

Prestbury Parish Council has recently announced that it is expanding its Community Involvement Programme, with a total of up to six hours of FREE off-peak use of the Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) per week now available to any community group who wishes to apply. Each group can initially apply for a one hour slot per week, and can book for several weeks at a time, if they wish.

Hamish Breach, a Parish Councillor in Prestbury, said, “We are very excited to build on the already very successful Friday evening youth football community scheme with Cheltenham Town FC by increasing the number of hours that the MUGA is available to be used for free by the local community.  We are offering our top of the range facility at no cost to any local group, during the daytime on weekdays, and all day over the weekend.  We particularly would like any organised youth group to take advantage, but the scheme is available to all age groups and any application will be considered.”

The CIP is available to organised groups or societies, not private individuals, and will run until the end of August 2021.

To apply:

  • email the Parish Clerk using the Contact Us form, please enter MUGA – CIP in the subject box and select ‘Book MUGA’ from the recipient drop down list, or
  • telephone the Parish Office on 01242 575129 (Tue-Thu 9.00am-2.00pm).
