Barley Road public open space – new bench

Tree bench

Prestbury Parish Council is delighted that the first of three hexagonal teak benches, each to surround a young tree, has this week been installed on the Barley Road public open space, adjacent to the Playing Fields on Prestbury Road.

The Council hopes that they will provide Prestbury residents with a place to sit and relax while enjoying the public open space for many years to come.

The benches have been jointly funded by Prestbury Parish Council at a cost of £1400, with a further grant of £1000 from the Community Pride fund from Cheltenham Borough Council. We are very grateful to have received this support.
